OAK GROVE EVANGELISM MINISTRIES

SUNDAY SERVANT TEAMS
What is a Sunday Servant Team? It is a group of men and women called to use their gift of hospitality to welcome visitors and members one Sunday morning each month. Evangelism Ministries are looking for volunteers to serve with the same team either the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th or 5^th Sunday of the month. Volunteers are needed to be Greeters, Ushers, Connection Corner Hosts, Information Desk Hosts and to deliver Welcome Gifts to first time visitors. If you have a warm and welcoming personality and would like to use these gifts to help visitors find a connection here at Oak Grove, then contact Kathy Hodges at 547-2319/Kathy@oakgroveumc.org.

GREETER MINISTRIES
Greeters are needed before and after each service to welcome and assist newcomers. Volunteers are stationed at the main entry points to the church 15 minutes before and after each service and assist visitors and members alike as needed.

USHER MINISTRIES
Ushers are needed at the 8:15 and 11am services to assist folks in getting seated, to hand out bulletins, help with the offering during the service and to help clear the worship area after the service ends.

HOSPITALITY STATION HOSTS
Hosts are needed each Sunday to either set-up the Hospitality Stations before 9am or to help clean-up the Hospitality Stations after the 11am service ends. Set-up includes preparing the coffee and lemonade and helping to arrange the bagels and cream cheese in the display containers. Clean-up includes cleaning up the hospitality stations, washing out the lemonade and coffee containers as well as the bagel display containers.

INFORMATION DESK HOSTS
Hosts are needed 15 minutes before and after each service to assist visitors and members at the Information Desk. Volunteers might answer questions, help with directions, hand out program information located at the desk and just help out as needed.

WELCOME GIFT DELIVERERS
Oak Grove delivers Welcome Gift Bags each week to first time visitors who fill out a Connection Card. Volunteers meet after each service, scan the Connection Card for visitor information, assemble needed gift bags and then deliver these bags sometime that Sunday afternoon or the first part of each week.
